Darn It!!!!

While waiting for poly to start, I think it was in May or June, I went backpacking with my cousin and 3 of his school friends. I was the only girl. We had planned to go up to Thailand, then make our way back down towards Singapore. Then, suddenly there was a change of plans as my cousin's friend in Thailand had to go overseas urgently. So the Thailand leg of the trip was cancelled. So we backpacked up to KL, stayed a few days there, then slowly made our way down back to Singapore. Almost everywhere we went we walked, once, we walked close to 60 km in a day, just to get to another state, which one I can't remember, and everywhere we stayed was low budget, traveller's motels. We survived for 2 weeks or more(I can't really remember anymore) in Malaysia on the personal budget of 500R each. We stayed in various places in almost every town in Malaysia after KL. And we all brought back loads of stuff from Malaysia, like clothes, bags, souvenirs, food, ciggies, bubblegum, CD's, VCD's and much much more. I had felt as if I was buying enough to open a shop with. And I still had money left over at the end of the trip, about 150R left I think. And that was the best time of my life... Haiz, I wonder when I can do this again. Maybe end of this year, my cousin is planning to go to Thailand this time... Maybe I'll join him.

Feels good to talk about this, a lot happened on that trip. Maybe when I become senile or something like that, at least I still have this to read and try my darnest to remember.. Haha...
