The Almighty!

Bruce Almighty!!! It's a great show. Claire, you should go watch that. I laughed till I cried,(which is a first for me) had a stomache and couldn't breathe. Literally screaming with laughter throughout the movie. It was that funny. Jim Carrey is great, the absolute best. I watched the movie with Neeta, Vic, Jensen and Saiful. After that, went to play pool, then had dinner at pizza hut then headed home.

We were eating our lunch at the tacles in front of the big screen in Lido today and at the same time waiting for Saiful, I noticed something. Amongst the people eating at the tables, the ones who cleared their own tables after eating were mostly caucasians. We always see the signs in foodcourts and fastfood restaurants, "Please return tray after eating." But mostly we ignore the signs. The Singaporeans eating there didn't even bother to at least try to tidy up the table a little before leaving, much less clear up after themselves. I was wondering why we are so much different. Is it the culture or the upbringing? Or is it just a habit that is cultivated into them? Either way, I find that we Singaporeans rely too much on the cleaners. If one day all the cleaners were to go on strike, what would happen to all the food centers and restaurants? Would the Singaporeans finally clean up after themselves? I think not. All they would do would most probably complain to the government and write in to the newspapers, complaining even more. We have a long way to go to finally becoming a truely cultured country. And I think the best way to start would be to start cleaning up after ourselves.
Oh, in case you are wondering, we did clean up after ourselves.

I'm bloated. I feel as if the dinner I ate at pizza hut could last me for tomorrow's breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the train, Jensen and the guys were making me laugh so hard that I felt as if I could throw up anytime. The movements of the train were not helping in any way. Urrgghh.... I still feel as if I could throw up anytime... *Groans*...
